The Petrified Opinions storyline was born during a 10 hour drive from Tulsa Oklahoma to Huntsville Alabama in August 1995. It has been heavily inspired by the works of Joel Rosenberg and J. Michael Straczynski since then so I've had time to work and refine it and hopefully it'll provide entertainment for the next several years. In playing, you'll find that I shamelessly steal from any media that moves me. It's considered good manners to not make too much fun of me when you catch me. =-) I'm setting this page up as a player reference. It's a great roleplaying aid when someone can casually toss in a culture reference without prompting from me. If it's listed here, it's more than likely common knowledge under the right circumstances. You know your character and what they know. Use what pertains to you and play dumb on the rest so the recognized "experts" get to play THEIR characters as well. The history of the Vale of Summer would not necessarily be known to someone who isn't from the Vale so use discretion.
