Larus
Owner/Concerge of the Traveller's
Rest
At first glance Larus looks to be
a slight human man of about 50 years age. His hair is thinning and white, and
he bears noticable scars on his wrists and throat. Direct evidence that he once
bore the weight of a slave collar.
Larus is amiable and friendly and,
if asked, none of the staff at the Traveller's Rest can ever remember seeing
him being cross or unprofessional with anyone. As a result, Larus knows everyone
worth knowing in the city of Athkatla and is a veritable wealth of information
on what's going on in the city. Of course, Larus is not the type who would meddle
in the affairs of others and his discresion is legendary. Because of this, he
is often used as a go between when two parties with to settle a delicate situation.
You can rest assured that he will do right by all parties. Still, if you're
seeking information and no one would be harmed by it, Larus is your man. If
you need something located, especially if it is rare, Larus is your man. If
you want dirt on someone, Larus won't know what you're talking about.
Many suspect that Larus has an eidetic
memory. Oddly, he can remember a guest's preferences even though they haven't
been to the rest in many years but can't remember just who that councilman was
and if he had an escort or not. Only Larus knows for sure and he isn't telling.
Kyle
Bartender at The Miscast MIssile
Kyle is an amiable looking guy of
approximately 30 years of age. His hair is cut close to his scalp and his has
an easy air about him. Kyle has been the bartender for about 8 years now and
knows damn near every mage in Athkatla. Slaver and Guild. More than that, if
it has something to do with magic in Athkatla you can bet that Kyle knows something
about it....
